About the Speaker/s

Jamie Lingham

Chief Executive Officer @ Absolute Immigration

Jamie is a highly passionate and dedicated immigration professional. He has extensive experience developing immigration policy, compliance and strategies for the attraction and retention of overseas workers.  A natural problem solver, Jamie thrives on the challenge to provide practical solutions to highly complex immigration problems. Active in the industry since 2001, Jamie takes a holistic approach to the overseas immigration and relocation process, specifically looking at ways to educate clients in order to reduce issues faced by sponsors and visa applicants moving to Australia. He has undertaken significant compliance projects for state government departments, multinational organisations and ASX listed companies.

Graham Van Damme

Managing Director @ Jag Capital

Graham is a highly entrepreneurial and results-driven leader with a proven track record of delivering organisational success across operations, commercial and finance functions and M&A. His experience has been developed through national and international leadership positions with Executive and Non-Executive Board roles across aviation, resources, mining services, manufacturing and construction.  He also led a management buyout of a third generation mining services business in 2006, and as Managing Director, grew the business organically from $4 Million in sales to $32 million over 6 years. He subsequently led the sell down of 80% of the business and participated in the subsequent acquisitions leading to the business being sold to an ASX listed entity in 2010 for $575 million. 

What to Expect

Arrive at the venue around 5:30pm for a half hour of networking while you enjoy pizza and beer. The event kicks-off at 6:00pm where one or two speakers will each give a 20-minute presentation. Afterward, there will be a fireside chat with both speakers, where the audience can ask questions, and the event will close at 7:30pm.
